Congratulations to Devon Ward! She's the Summer 2019 recipient of Lil' Monkey Cheeks' "Mom, We See You!" Spotlight Prize! Devon was nominated by her wife Keira and is an incredible supermom to their two boys and a caring & loving wife!
Here is what Keira said about her wife:
"I am nominating my beautiful wife because I truly have not met a stronger mother in my life. I was diagnosed with a serious pregnancy related liver condition at 28 weeks pregnant that left me quite debilitated. Devon stepped up in ways that I could never have imagined. She basically was solo parenting our then 8-month old son, taking care of me while I was sick, and running the house. I would never have made it through my pregnancy without her love and care, I know it wasn't easy on her and through out the whole thing she stayed positive and supportive. When our second son was born at 36 weeks and had to be in the NICU, Devon drove back and forth from the hospital, splitting her time between our two sons, barely having any time for herself. She helped me through my terrible recovery and was amazing in helping our older son transition to being a big brother. I could go on and on about how strong, amazing, and loving she was during this very trying time and it still would never do her justice. She has just recently returned to work after her maternity leave ended and she is having a hard time leaving her boys. She is the most deserving person I have ever met and I would love it if all her sacrifices and efforts would be acknowledged. I want her to be seen for the spectacular mother she is.
