Congratulations to Cindy Arruda (far right)! She is the Winter 2020 recipient of our 'Mom, We See You!' Spotlight prize! Cindy was nominated by her daughter Lindsay, and is a great example of a mom who is there for everyone in her family!
Here is what Lindsay said about her mom:
"I nominate my mom! She is not only my mom but my best friend. Whenever someone needs something she tries her best to help. My mom is a mother of four and Nana to seven. She works full time yet still works her schedule around to help with childcare of my four children plus takes time to visit my other nieces and nephews. This past year has been a challenge for her with caring for my grandmother (her mom) while she went through in home dialysis and, at the end of last year, a stroke. Through it all mom made sure all of us kids and grandkids were okay before herself. She spent many sleepless nights by grandma's bedside before she passed, yet always had time to spend with her grandbabies even if she was beyond tired. She always says her grandkids are her life and I know it is true. They do make her smile, but she also makes them smile. I love watching the bond she has with each one of them. If only my mom could see how amazing she is. Some days I feel we can't show her enough how much she means to us. We all love you mom. "
